Dr. Carr completed dual training in Dermatology and Pediatrics. Board Certified in Dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology. She was the first in the country to complete a combined training program in Dermatology and Pediatrics at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. She was raised in Houston, Texas and attended college at the University of Texas at Austin. She attended medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and was honored with membership in the AOA, the medical honor society. During her residency training, she was voted Best Resident by her peers, and was a resident member of the Camp Discovery Committee through the American Academy of Dermatology, where she volunteered for the children’s camp during her summers. Dr. Carr’s interest is adult and pediatric dermatology as well as skin cancer surgery and cosmetics. Dr. Tarek M. Fakhouri, is a Fellowship-Trained MOHS Surgeon, is board-certified by the American Academy of Dermatology and is a member of the American College of MOHS Surgery and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. He specializes in the treatment of skin cancer and aesthetic reconstruction. Dr Tarek M. Fakhouri attended Vanderbilt University for his undergraduate studies where he majored in economics and molecular biology and was inducted into the Omicron Delta Epsilon national economics honor society. After completing his masters in medical science, he received his doctorate in medicine at Wayne State University School of Medicine. During medical school he was accepted into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society and graduated with high distinction. He completed his internship in internal medicine at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor, where he served as chief resident of his internship class and was awarded the Chief’s Award by the internal medicine department. Dr. Tarek M. Fakhouri then completed his dermatology residency at Wayne State University Department of Dermatology. Following residency, Dr. Tarek M. Fakhouri completed a fellowship in procedural dermatology at Surgical Dermatology Group in Birmingham, where he performed and assisted in thousands of cases of MOHS Micrographic Surgery with advanced reconstructions. He has extensive training in a variety of cosmetic and laser procedures. Dr. Fakhouri was director of MOHS surgery at Wayne State University’s Department of Dermatology. He provided MOHS surgery services for Wayne State University Physician Group’s network of 600 doctors as well as for our nation’s veterans at the John D. Dingell VA hospital in Detroit. Dr. Seema Daulat, MD, FAAD is a board-certified medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatologist with an interest in preventive skin care. She enjoys managing both common and complex skin diseases and has specialized training in skin cancer screening and treatment. Dr. Daulat graduated magna cum laude from the University of Texas at Austin, where she studied Finance and Spanish in addition to the rigorous pre-medical curriculum. She earned her Doctorate of Medicine (M.D.) from the prestigious University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, TX. She then completed an internal medicine internship at the University of Washington in Seattle. She was subsequently accepted into a cutaneous oncology fellowship program at the MD Anderson Cancer Center, where she performed clinical trials that ultimately led to FDA approval of medications for skin cancer and cutaneous lymphoma. Dr. Daulat went on to complete her dermatology residency training at one of the nation’s top medical dermatology residency programs – the University of Texas at Houston and MD Anderson Cancer Center, where she served as Chief Resident during her final year.
